Webinar: Fecal Lactoferrin Measurements in Clinical Practice
Many of the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease overlap (IBD)with those of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Elevated lactoferrin is an indicator of intestinal inflammation. Fecal lactoferrin testing is a non-invasive metric that can be used to help differentiate IBD and IBS patients presenting with non-specific gastrointestinal symptoms. In this webinar, Paul Rufo, MD, MSSc will discuss how fecal lactoferrin testing may aid in IBD and IBS differentiation and for following disease activity.
