The company has considerable experience in the MIC testing on even the most difficult to grow bacteria, such as fastidious anaerobes, isolates from both humans and animals. TECHLAB® President, Dr. Tracy Wilkins, is the inventor of Wilkins Chalgren agar and was a co-author of the first NCCLS Methods for susceptibility testing of anaerobes. Testing is done according to the latest edition of the NCCLS Methods and to Good Laboratory Practice.
